Someone elected to paint this lantern green and write their own message. It’s kind of rare to see this sort of "artistic" lantern as most are generic in some fashion. I thought it was fun and different as lanterns go in Japan.

Sunflower Trio is perhaps my favorite photo thus far of all my sunflower shots. It captures everything that surrounds these wonderful flowers even the little bee you can see in front of the third flower on the right. They can be tricky to photograph in groups like this which is why I like this one very much. They all seemed to behave and pose for the photo which was cool to see. Thanks guys!

Light by Design showcases the lighting effects that can be found lanterns as a result of the sun casting shadows. I took many photos like this and found some really terrific light design. I thought it provided an added touch to the photography.
